Seattle auditions were better than Minneapolis auditions in terms of weirdo factor.  From what I've heard (from a friend who auditioned a couple of years ago) there is an initial screening process for contestents.  The judges do not hear all of the people who show up.  Which means, the initial screeners have to be letting those weirdos through to the final rounds.  I'm sure they do it for ratings purposes and weirdo factor.  But some of these people must know that they can't sing! I'm assuming some of these people act weird to get on television. 

Thoughts?  Anyone else know any person who has auditioned for AI? I'd love to hear about their experience.
