Ok, so who else watched the season 6 premier of American Idol?  I did!  I love this show. Tonight's show, which features Seattle tryouts, looks like it is going to showcase all the weirdos!  They always come out of the woodwork for this show!  Gotta love it!

In my opinion, I believe that out of the winners (not contestents) of the past five seasons, the winner of AI who has made the best record (and I believe will have the longest music career, instead of a flash-in-the-pan career) is Carrie Underwood.  I'm not the biggest Country Music fan, but I did download her album on iTunes and it is a very well crafted, well written, well sung album.  Out of the winners of AI, I'll rank them in the order I think are most successful (according to my opinon, not record sales) to least: Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Hicks, Fantasia Barrino, Ruben Studdard.

Of course Jennifer Hudson is experiencing great success right now, (girlfriend did just win a Golden Globe - and will probably be nominated for an Oscar - she's got skills) but alas, I'm only sticking to ranking the winners AI.
