I got a haircut today.  I actually had the stylist cut a few inches off, so now it is a chin-length bob.  I brought in a picutre of Katie Holmes' new haircut and told him I wanted something similar, but whatever would look best with the shape of my face.  He looked at the picture and asked if that was me...ha ha.  Wait he wasn't joking. I really think he doesn't know who Katie Holmes is or what she looks like.  He's an older gentleman and is originally from Germany, so he probably doesn't pay that much attention to celebrity gossip - while I'm a psudo-expert on the issue.  What a nice compliment because she was in her bathing suit with Suri on one hip in the French Rivera looking fantastic. 

I've been going to this salon for a few years, but never had the salon owner cut my hair until today.  And he did a fantastic job.  He owns two salons and two schools in two states, including New York City, so I assumed he'd cut my hair well and he did.  While it was the most expensive haircut I've ever had, it is also the best.
