Damn if I didn't have my own Rascal scooter sighting today after reading lizardbeth's post.  After we had dropped the boys off at josiejunk's house to go to the Suns-Spurs playoff games, we spotted a rather large woman 'driving' down the sidewalk, doing about 15mph on her rascal.  I pointed her out to Mike - she was looking rather disheveled, with a small US flag attached to her scooter, jamming out to whatever was playing on her walkman or mp3 player.  We were at a stoplight, right before getting on the freeway to go downtown.  I'm not the only one who noticed her, as we heard the people next to us shout 'hey look at that woman on her scooter!'  I should have taken a picture.

And yes, the Suns lost in a blowout.
