A few days ago I really felt like making josiejunk 's salsa and guacamole recipes.  So I headed out to the grocery store and bought all the ingredients - except the chips, I forgot the chips.  Duh.

Yesterday I decided to make the salsa and guacamole (after buying some chips) and let it sit overnight so the flavors could really blend.  Today I had some of my fresh salsa and guacamole, but alas, it is not as good as Josie's.  I put a little too much garlic in the salsa (I could slay vampires with a whif of my breath) and the guacamole could have used more cilanto and lime juice.  But it couldn't have been that bad since I stuffed my face!  Nothing is as good as fresh salsa and guacamole!
