Well there hasn't been much new going on here. Alex is busy being a toddler, and trashing the house every chance he gets. He's really taken to throwing things, which is a habit I'm trying to break. His new favorite toy is a mini tennis ball, which was originally bought for our toy dog. This evening he was tossing it around the house. Then he put it in his mouth - like the dogs - and started laughing. So much for germaphobia.
Tonight I decided to queue on Netflix all the Oscar nominated films, films of all the nominated actors and actresses, and documentaries. So far, I haven't seen any of the Best Picture nominees (Babel; Letters from Iwo Jima; Little Miss Sunshine; The Departed; The Queen). I think the only movie I have seen is one of the nominated documentaries, An Inconvenient Truth (other nominees include: Jesus Camp; My Country, My Country; Iraq in Fragments; Deliver Us From Evil).
It is difficult for parents to find free time to see a movie, so Netflix is a great way to keep up with new releases. I'll let you know what I think of these films as I review them. Stay tuned!
